New book: Forests, Carbon Cycle and Climate Change. February 2010
We are pleased to announce that findings of the CARBOFOR project are
now available in the book "Forests, Carbon Cycle and Climate Change".
The results presented in the book summarize the main works of the
CARBOFOR project, which brought together 52 scientists from 14
research units (INRA, CNRS, CEA, Météo-France, Universities of
Paris-Sud and Orléans, IFN, CIRAD) to investigate the effects
of future climate on the carbon cycle and the productivity and
vulnerability of French forests.
- EC launched a call on Africa!
We are happy to inform you that the CarboAfrica Secretariat participated
in the
"Africa
info day" organized by the European Commission (EC) in Bruxelles
last 18 September 2009. During this event the EC presented the last call
launched on Africa. This is a great opportunity for the African Institutions
to get funds. Please have
a look
at the call and explore the possibility for participating in project proposals.
Good luck! The CarboAfrica Secretariat.
